Our approach

This website is designed with accessibility in mind, with reference to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA.

What we have done

Features built into the site include:

• Text and background colors chosen for readable contrast
• Headings in a logical order, and page titles that describe each page
• Menus, filters, questions and forms that work with a keyboard, with the Escape key closing menus
• Text descriptions for meaningful images
• Form fields with labels, and error messages that explain what to fix
• Layouts that adapt to phones, tablets and zoomed text

Known limitations

Some older documents, such as scanned brochures and drawings, may not be fully accessible. If you need information from one of them, contact us and we will provide it another way.
